The frame is what people notice. The lens is what you look through every waking hour. We explain the options in plain language and recommend only what your eyes and your day actually call for.
One prescription across the whole lens. For distance, for reading, or for the computer.
Progressive
Distance, middle and near in one lens, with no visible line. It takes a few days to get used to — we walk you through it.
Anti-reflective and blue light
Cuts glare from headlights and screens, and makes your eyes easier to see behind the lens.
Transitions and sunglasses
Lenses that darken outdoors, or a proper prescription sunglass. In Miami, this is not a luxury.
What we ask you before ordering
Two people with the same prescription often need different lenses. Before we order anything, we go through this with you:
How many hours a day you spend in front of a screen.
Whether you drive at night, and how much glare bothers you.
Whether you need to see clearly up close while also looking at something far away.
How much time you spend outdoors — this is Miami.
Whether you have worn progressives before, or this would be your first pair.
Bring us your prescription
If you already had your exam somewhere else, that is fine. Bring the prescription and we will make your lenses. If you have not, we can do the exam here first.
